Why isn't my tracking updating?

Boxes shipped within the US are shipped with USPS.

Boxes shipped within the US are shipped with USPS and door-to-door tracking is offered.&#xA0;All international packages are shipped with Asendia and are then passed on to your local postal service for delivery. For countries where door-to-door tracking is offered (ex. Canada, UK), you can search your secondary tracking number with your local post office to track your box locally.European boxes are often passed from Asendia to Swiss Post or La Poste (Asendia&apos;s European shipping partners) before being passed on to your local postal service.&#xA0;Boxes shipped to Australia and New Zealand are passed from Asendia to DAI Post where they are sorted and either passed on to AusPost or Aramex for local delivery.If you have any questions or concerns about your shipment, please ensure you have given your box enough time (<a href="https://owlcrate-support.gorgias.help/en-US/how-long-will-it-take-for-my-owlcrate-to-arrive-113455" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">How long will it take for my box to arrive?</a>) and then email support@owlcrate.com.&#xA0;

The common question is &quot;Why did I have to pay extra taxes/fees to customs to receive my box when I already paid taxes when I purchased my order from you?&quot;<hr>April 2025 Update: We have done our due diligence with our shipping partners to ensure we are doing everything correctly and all necessary customs information is available to customs authorities. We can confirm that our IOSS information is always included/hardcoded into a package&apos;s data file.&#xA0;However, our shipping partners did report recent data exchange breakdowns, which were things out of their control and ours.&#xA0;<ul id="isPasted" type="disc"><li style="font-size: 14px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Issue #1- There was a global A1 deployment that inadvertently removed our code to send IOSS. This occurred on January 16th and was fixed on January 28th.</li><li style="font-size: 14px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Issue #2 &#x2013; La Poste issue with data was February 10th through 13th.</li></ul>Other recent issues would have been due to local customs authorities and, for that reason, aren&apos;t cases in which we are able to refund the customer on our end. Please see the original details below.We will continue to monitor such issues and refine our processes as standards and requirements change.<hr>It has come to our attention that some of our EU customers are being asked to pay extra taxes and fees to Customs to receive their boxes even though taxes have already been paid.We have double-checked that our customs declarations/information are complete and correct at all stages of our international shipping process. We have also spoken to our EU VAT Tax Partners and it seems this is also a common issue with other sellers. It is &#x201C;a technical/integration issue between the shippers and the customs agencies.&#x201D;As we have already remitted the taxes we charged upon purchase/renewal to the associated government, we are no longer able to refund any extra taxes/fees charged by your Customs office starting with any boxes shipped after November 1st, 2024.Our research has shown additional fees don&apos;t always happen, but it&apos;s been reported as a problem some sellers are facing. In the cases in which you are asked to pay extra taxes/fees, you will need to take extra actions to reclaim those costs from your government.OwlCrate customer support will be happy to provide a full invoice for your shipment which shows taxes have been paid and lists our IOSS number. Simply email support@owlcrate.com with your OWL_ order number and they will be happy to help.Causes of Double Taxation include:<ul><li style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Non-communication of IOSS Number: The IOSS number is not provided or recognized during customs clearance, leading to VAT being charged again.
