Can I Cancel my Order?
If you need to cancel an order, please email your request to [email protected].

Monthly Subscriptions:

  • If your renewal had gone through, you can expect to receive that month's box. Cancelling your subscription will not cancel the order that is already in the system.
  • Cancelling a subscription only affects future renewals and doesn’t trigger an automatic refund.
  • If you didn’t intend to renew, email [email protected] as soon as possible. As long as your order/shipment hasn't moved into the "Processed" stage, which generally happens a few days before shipping, we will be happy to cancel and refund your order.

Shop Orders and Special Editions:

  • As long as your order/shipment hasn't moved into the "Processed" stage, which generally happens a few days before shipping, we will be happy to cancel and refund your order.
  • Please email customer support as soon as possible.
  • Once an order has been shipped, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds. 

Extra Notes:

We cannot accept returns once a box has been shipped/delivered, regardless of whether or not the box has been opened. This includes past boxes, books, and items purchased through the shop.

Special Editions books and boxes are a final sale (once shipped), as well as any discounted items purchased during a shop sale. 

We do not offer refunds if you receive a book/item that you aren't interested in or already have. We hope you pass them on to a book-loving friend or family member or donate them to your local library! There is also an active Buy/Sell/Trade group on Facebook, where you might find someone who is looking for that item!
